How It Works

  • 1. Pick Your Revival

    Select a piece(s) from your jewelry collection that holds sentimental value but doesn't suit your style.

  • 2. Fill Out the inquiry form

    Let us know about the piece(s) you'd like to revive! Option to upload images of your jewelry and inspiration for your new design are also located on this form.

  • 3. Schedule a consultation

    Once we've received your inquiry form, we will reach out with a link to schedule a consultation for your revival.

  • 4. Send Us Your Jewelry

    After your consultation, you will be instructed on how to safely ship us your jewelry. Within 2 days you will receive an email with the tracking for your secure jewelry shipping box that is mailed to you. Once you receive the jewelry shipping box, carefully follow the directions included and ship your heirlooms to the Heirloom Revival studio in downtown Los Angeles. We understand that your jewels require the utmost care, read more about our shipping safety practices.

  • 5. We Inspect

    You will be notified once your heirlooms safely arrive at the HR studio. After receiving your jewelry in Los Angeles, we carefully inspect and confirm that your selected design & details can be revived as planned before emailing you the balance invoice. Before you pay the balance is time to make any last minute adjustments. If you’ve changed your mind completely, it’s ok! We mail everything back to you minus shipping costs.

  • 6. Time to Revive! Removing Stones & Creating Custom 3D CAD Drawings

    Your project has begun! Depending on your revival this process can include removing stones, taking apart findings and weighing the metals. During this step, we will also share a sketch and/or 3D CAD drawing so you can see a rendering of your design and give final approval before we move to metalsmithing. Each project includes up to two edits of the rendering.

  • 7. Time to Revive! Metalsmithing

    The metalsmithing begins! Your 3D design is cast in gold or your metal is melted down. Our skilled team of goldsmiths start drawing down, sawing, sanding, setting, and polishing.

  • 8: Fin!

    Your Heirloom Revival is finished! We confirm the return address and delivery time, and email you a return tracking number. All return pieces are mail UPS overnight or 2-day, fully insured with signature required. *We prefer that the first time you see the revival is in person and for that reason do not send sneak peek images before mailing.

  • 9. Enjoy!
